NEVER install this device in an area where the air inlets or exhaust port can be obstructed by the RV’s door when opened •    NEVER place seating, picnic tables, awnings, or canopies directly in the path of the exhaust port. •    The water heater MUST be installed uprightly; otherwise, it will affect its normal operation. •    DO NOT install the device where the distance from the exhaust port to the RV’s door or windows is less than 12 in. (305 mm). •   ALWAYS make sure the hose connections between this device and your gas and water lines are correct and secure.  NEVER mix up the gas and water ports. •   ALWAYS ensure the  RED wire of this device’s  power cord  is connected to the  POSITIVE terminal of the power source, while the BLACK wire is connected to the NEGATIVE terminal. •    During  installation,  use  proper  personal  protective  equipment  (PPE)  suitable for your task. Keep bystanders, children, and pets away from your work area, restricting access as needed. Anyone who is allowed nearby should wear equivalent PPE. •    The water heater should be installed on a non-combustible frame. If the frame is constructed from combustible materials, use flame-retardant insulation such as insulating felt or boards to fully separate the water heater from any flammable surfaces. The insulation material should have a thickness greater than 0.8 inches (20 mm). •   ALWAYS ensure the bottom of the opening is flat and stable, and the opening is deep enough to accommodate gas, electrical, and water lines. •    DO NOT connect this device to the exhaust system of other appliances
